LIFE IN BLACK MOUNTAIN

Known as the “Front Porch” of Western North Carolina, Black Mountain has a friendly hometown feel. There are over 40 restaurants in this quaint mountain town of about 8000 from BBQ to upscale cuisine. There are a variety of recreational activities, many unique shops and art galleries and several music venues to keep you busy. Play a round at the Black Mountain Golf Course or check out one of the many local festivals including Sourwood, LEAF or Art in Bloom. Take a stroll around Lake Tomahawk, breathe in the fresh air and experience everything Black Mountain has to offer. Rent a pontoon boat on Lake Lure and check out Chimney Rock State Park. Both are within a short drive. And don’t forget to stop by Pisgah Brewing Company for a Pale Ale or Greybeard IPA!
